Many of you may know of Sir Salman Rushdie, author of The Satanic Verses. Well this year he is up for nomination for the Man Booker Prize yet again for his novel, The Enchantress of Florence and in the running to win £50,000 and is on the longlist for the prize up against 12 others including Linda Grant for “The Clothes on Their Backs” and Tom Rob Smith for “Child 44″. Better start reading those books and decide on who you want to win!

Also, you might notice that on the cover of the book, it reads “Winner of the Man Booker Prize”. Hmm….something fishy there considering this years prize hasn’t even been awarded yet!!!!
